In Singapore the standard voltage is 230 V and the frequency is 50 Hz. That’s the standard voltage in the UK, Europe, Australia and most of Asia and Africa; If you are traveling from the US you will need an adaptor.

How to get around Singapore
Mass Rapid Transit (MRT): This is Singapore’s subway system, which covers most of the city and is very efficient and reliable. You can purchase tickets at the station or use an EZ-Link card, which can be topped up and used for multiple trips.
Bus: Singapore has a extensive bus network that covers most of the city, and is a more affordable option than the MRT. You can pay with cash or an EZ-Link card.
Taxi: Taxis are readily available in Singapore, and can be hailed on the street or picked up at designated taxi stands. They are metered and the fares are reasonable.
Grab: This is Southeast Asia’s version of Uber, and is widely used in Singapore. You can download the app and easily book a ride.
Bicycle: Singapore has a bike-sharing system called “oBike”, which allows you to rent a bike for a short period of time and drop it off at any of the designated bike parking areas throughout the city.
Overall, Singapore is very pedestrian-friendly, so walking is also a great way to explore the city, especially in areas like the Marina Bay and Chinatown.
Visa Policy
Singapore has a relatively open visa policy for tourists, allowing visitors from many countries to enter without a visa or obtain a visa on arrival. Citizens of most European countries, the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand can enter Singapore for up to 90 days without a visa. Citizens of some Asian countries, such as Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan, can also enter without a visa for up to 90 days. However, citizens of some countries, such as China, India, Russia, and many African countries, require a visa to enter Singapore. The visa application process can be completed online, and applicants are typically required to provide proof of sufficient funds, a return ticket, and a valid passport. It is recommended to check the visa requirements before traveling to Singapore to avoid any issues at the border.
