Things to keep in mind when choosing a credit card:
- Consider the fees: Take in consideration your expenses and how much of the fees you are willing / able to pay.
- Credit Score: Your credit score will determine your availability to apply to some credit cards. The best cards tend to be available to customer with good credit score (a FICO® Score of 670 or higher). Be mindful of this and work on it as overall it will allow you to access to more and better benefits. Applying for cards when you don’t have the enough credit for it could damage your score.
- Decide based on your interests: If you are a person who travel only once a year, travel lounges might not be something you care about. Find a card that fits your travel habits and that offers the rewards you could use the most.
- APR: They will vary depending on your credit, and they could go as high as 25.49%! It is always recommended to pay the amount in full before the end of the period to avoid these fees.
