Bayside Marketplace
An open-air complex with shopping, dining, and bayfront access in Miami.
Located at 401 Biscayne Boulevard, Bayside Marketplace sits next to Biscayne Bay, between Miami’s port, Bayfront Park, and the American Airlines Arena. Opened in 1987, the two-story open-air venue houses a mix of retail outlets, eateries, and entertainment spots under palm canopies and bay breezes. It serves both city residents and visitors looking for retail variety and activity along the water.
Retail and Dining Options
Bayside Marketplace features over 120 retail spaces—including shops for apparel, electronics, souvenirs, and local crafts. Stores range from national brands like Bath & Body Works, Foot Locker, and Victoria’s Secret to small boutiques and specialty kiosks.
Dining is similarly diverse. Options include casual food court stalls, sit-down restaurants, and waterfront bars. Visitors can choose from places like Hard Rock Cafe, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., or quick snacks—many offering outdoor views over the bayfront.
Entertainment and Features
Bayside Marketplace extends beyond shopping and dining. Live music and performances are regular fixtures on outdoor stages. Boat tours and water-based activities depart directly from the marina, including sightseeing cruises and jetboat rides.
The Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel also stands at the bayside edge, offering elevated views of the skyline and water.
Location and Access
Public transit is a convenient option: the Metromover’s College/Bayside station stops close by, and several buses and trolleys serve the area. Parking is available via nearby garages or metered street spaces, though prices may rise during events or weekends.
