Brickell City Centre
A mixed-use complex in Miami’s Brickell district with shopping, dining, offices, and residences.
Brickell City Centre is a large mixed-use development located in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, often considered the city’s financial district. Opened in 2016, the project spans more than 9 acres and combines retail, dining, office space, hotels, and residences in one connected complex.
Design and Structure
The development is known for its sustainable design features, particularly its Climate Ribbon—a large canopy structure that provides shade, improves airflow, and helps regulate temperatures in the open-air retail areas. The overall layout connects multiple buildings with pedestrian walkways, creating a central hub within Brickell.
Shopping and Dining
The retail section of Brickell City Centre includes international and local brands, ranging from fashion to electronics and lifestyle stores. Dining options vary from casual cafés to sit-down restaurants offering a mix of cuisines. The focus is on providing a variety of choices rather than on large department stores.
Offices and Residences
In addition to retail and dining, Brickell City Centre integrates office towers and residential buildings. The residential portion includes two towers, Reach and Rise, offering condominiums. Office spaces cater to companies working in finance, technology, and other industries based in the Brickell district.
