Schnebly Redland’s Winery & Brewery
A tropical fruit winery and brewery just southwest of Miami
Schnebly Redland’s Winery & Brewery operates on approximately 30 acres in Homestead, about an hour south of Miami. Founded by Peter and Denisse Schnebly in 2003, it’s noted as the southernmost winery in the continental U.S. that specializes in wine made exclusively from tropical fruits rather than grapes.
Wine and Brewery Offerings
The winery produces wine using locally grown tropical fruits like mango, lychee, guava, carambola, passion fruit—and even avocados. These fruit-based wines are their signature, available for tasting or by purchase in bottles.
Adjacent to the winery is Miami Brewing Company, where craft beers are also produced, including options made with local tropical ingredients.

Setting and Layout
The property includes landscaped courtyards, koi ponds, coral stone walls, and waterfalls, framed by tiki huts and tropical foliage. The stylized environment strays from typical vineyard settings and blends design with the local landscape.

Tastings, Tours & Meals
Tastings run daily, generally priced around $8–$13 for a five-sample experience with a souvenir glass.
Guided tours on weekends walk through the winemaking and brewing process, sometimes paired with sampling.
Dining options include the on-site farm-to-table restaurant, Redlander, open primarily on weekends, which serves meals using local ingredients.
Events & Additional Uses
Schnebly hosts live music, especially on weekends. It also offers event services, including birthday and wedding packages, with dedicated spaces such as tiki hut courtyards near waterfalls.
