Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel
Miami's Ferris wheel at Bayside Marketplace
The Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel is located at Bayside Marketplace, on the edge of Biscayne Bay in downtown Miami. The structure stands 176 feet tall and features enclosed, climate-controlled gondolas that operate year-round. It is one of the city’s most visible waterfront landmarks and is part of the larger Bayside entertainment and shopping area.
Design and Facilities
The wheel has 42 fully enclosed gondolas, each equipped with seating and air conditioning. One gondola is designated as a VIP option with glass floors and leather seating. The ride operates in a continuous cycle, with boarding and disembarking managed while the wheel moves slowly. A full rotation takes several minutes, allowing time to view the surrounding area from various heights.
Location and Views
Positioned on the waterfront, the wheel offers views of downtown Miami’s skyline, the Port of Miami, Biscayne Bay, and nearby islands. Visibility varies depending on weather and time of day. The location within Bayside Marketplace also provides access to restaurants, shops, and live entertainment spaces before or after the ride.
