The Guitar Hotel
A guitar-shaped high-rise hotel tower that redefined the South Florida skyline.
Opened in late 2019 as part of a $1.5 billion expansion of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, the Guitar Hotel added a dramatic, guitar-shaped skyscraper—designed to resemble two Gibson Les Paul guitars—to the resort campus. Its structure rises to approximately 450 feet, making it a distinctive architectural landmark in South Florida.
Design & Architecture
The tower’s form incorporates design elements that evoke a guitar—fretboard lines, body curves, and “strings” illuminated by LED lighting. The building features floor-to-ceiling glass and is supported by engineering structures accommodating its unique shape. The LED system, embedded in the façade, powers nightly light shows accompanied by music and six beam lights that project upward, mimicking guitar strings. adding approximately 240,000 square feet of new store and dining space—the biggest enhancement since the 1980s.
Rooms & Layout
The Guitar Hotel includes 638 guest rooms and suites. Room configurations range from standard accommodations to Luxury King rooms (around 760 sq ft), each offering amenities like rain-head showers, integrated sound systems, and the brand’s “Sleep Like a Rock” bedding line.
Resort Integration & Facilities
Part of a broader resort campus, the Guitar Hotel connects directly to the main casino building—expanding its facilities to include:
- A 4-acre lagoon-style pool complex with private cabanas
- A spa covering approximately 42,000 sq ft
- Multiple dining options, nightclubs, shops, and an event center and theater for concerts and live shows
